Audio tube amplifier
The original design of this tube amplifier is 1930 created by Western Electric to sound movie theaters. Were enough the 10W to fill a good sized movie house through the use of speaker systems fitted with super-efficient high gain horns. In 1992 was published in an article in Sound Practices of Joe Roberts that catalysed the revival of WE91 to the delight of audiophiles.
I mounted this amp based on clone made by Harald van Haaren’s TimeBandit: http://www.timebanditaudio.com/timebandit.html, one of several clones made after the Joe Roberts article.
